American, late 19th-early 20th century. Walnut and pine crown of thorns lift top box. Minoe imperfections. 6 1/4"h. 10 1/4"w. 6 1/4"d. And oak chip carved tiered frame with cross corners. Retains old crazed surface. 32"h. 26"w.

Condition: Box has dusty surface. Minor losses and slightly warped lid. Frame contains turn of the century print of young woman holding a letter.
