EARLY QUILT.
Probably American, late 18th-early 19th century, cotton, linen with silk embroidery. Made from many small pieces of cotton marseilles, ribbed dimity and a center of embroidered oriental motifs includes robed figures with parasols and flowers. Some original linen fringe. Complete, but all over yellowing and some wear. 87" x 92".
