Condition/Details: Bound in tan cloth with blue titles on spine and front cover, this antique volume is a scarce early edition of Joyce's first book, a collection of love poems, written in different styles, composed and revised between 1901 and 1906. Elkin Matthews of London published the first edition in 1907. The first (unauthorized) U. S. edition was published by Cornhill in 1918, followed by two authorized editions by B. W. Huebsch. The volume shows external age/wear with light soiling and staining to covers, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 5.25"" x 7.5"" and is complete including all 36 poems. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50"
