"This auction lot includes the following group of antique theological titles:

- Holy Bible - Unknown date and publisher - This bible includes a genealogy of the Freeman family dating back to 1843. Boards have detached and spine and preliminary pages, including title page, are lacking. A number of the first pages are loose, text block begins at pagination begins at page 33 and runs to the end of New Testament. Index is loosely attached together with 14 pages of the Psalms of David.
- The Holy Bible Translated from the Latin Vulgate with the Approbation of Rt. Revd. Dr. Hughes, Bishop of New York - No date provided by D. & J. Sadlier - Boards are detached/detaching. Text block is intact and has marbled endpapers and edges. Illustrated with engravings.
- Maria und Joseph - Das Leben der allerseligsten Jungfrau und ihres glorreichen Brautigams by P. Beat Rohner - Dated 1886 by Druck und Verlag von Gebr. Karl & Nikolaus Benziger - This bible contains a nineteenth-century genealogy of a German family. Embossed front board is detaching, spine has detached at front hinge. Profusely illustrated.
