bold stamped maker's mark with London (1779) hallmarks, oval form with beading to foot and cover, carved ivory handle and finial. With a George III sterling silver teapot stand with bold maker's marks for T. B. Pratt & Arthur Humphrey and London (1781) hallmarks, oval form with beaded edge, raised on four cast and applied claw & ball feet, bright cut engraving to inner edge, central crest. (4.1 troy ozs., 0.75" x 6.5" x 5") teapot only - 16.45 troy ozs. 4.5" x 10" Private collection from Raleigh, NC.
