Four 18th & 19th c. Silver Table Articles,
the first a fine George III sterling silver cream jug with bold hand-chased floral & rocaille repousse design on scalloped circular foot, cast and applied scrolled handle, with London (1762) hallmarks, maker's mark appears to bear "AS" for Alex. Saunders (active 2nd half of the 18th c.) (3.75"); the second a George IV sterling silver sifter with Sheffield (1824) hallmarks and "H.W." sponsor's mark (4"); the third a tea strainer with unidentified hallmarks, pierced bowl with scrolled engraving around edge (8"); the fourth a Dutch cutwork silver sweetmeat basket with beaded edge and swing handle of rope twist design, ca. 1820s (3.25" x 3.5" x 3"). 6.7 total troy ozs.
