mahogany with mahogany secondary, two-case construction, upper case with shell-carved doors opening to a fitted interior, lower case with carved fall board and fitted interior with three shell drawers, 20th century, origin unknown, 98 x 46-1/2 x 21 in. Good condition overall with minor surface abrasions and wear. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Dr. Margaret Reisner, Savannah, Georgia Probably based on the 18th century example at the Winterthur Museum.
