carved and gilt wood with facing spread-wing eagles over convex mirror panels with foliate carved appliqués, British or American, 19th century, 26-1/2 x 18 x 3-1/4 in. Repainting and resurfacing to gilding with numerous cracks and separations at laminations, backboards replaced and glass possibly replaced, some elements possibly associated, appliqué drops probably later, minor chips to gilt and gesso. Provenance: The Estate of the Late John Boone, Owensboro, Kentucky
