figured and stenciled mahogany veneers, marble columns and pilasters with gilt capitals, finely carved feet and returns, attributed to Annesley & Company, Albany, New York, late 19th century, 38-1/2 x 46 x 22 in. Good condition with wear and losses to stenciling, scattered cracks and repairs to veneers, minor paint retouch, normal wear. Provenance: The Estate of the Late John Boone, Owensboro, Kentucky A very closely related example signed by Annesley & Company is illustrated in John Scherer, [New York Furniture at the New York State Museum,] catalogue 119.
