cherry throughout with tilting single-board top with astragal corners, urn-turned support on tripod base, old surface, possibly Eastern Tennessee, early 19th century, 28-1/2 x 18-1/8 x 17-3/4 in. Top with extensive stains and wear, minor patches and repairs to pedestal and legs at joints, later metal spider, wooden hinge at top with break and repair.
