St. Dominic holding a rosary and receiving bread from angel, a crown, idol, vegetable and lions with fire in their mouths at their feet, unsigned, oil on canvas, Cuzco-Peruvian School, 18th century, 17 x 12-1/8 in.; fine 18th century wood and tortoise veneer German ripple molding frame. Restretched on new stretcher, lined, flaking, craquelure, pest damage, restoration with five patches verso, retouch in trees, at edges and small points throughout; frame with abrasions, pest damage, cracks and splits to wood and tortoise.
