Gortzi, ME F: Anno 1.5.90 Aetatis vero 41", follower of Geldorp Gortzius, Flemish, 1553-1618, oil on cradled panel, possibly late 16th/early 17th century, 42 x 30 in.; 16th century Flemish black painted and gilt wood plate frame. Split through center of panel, several periods of restoration with retouch throughout including face, hands and background, crackle, craquelure; frame with large chips, flaking, abrasions. Provenance: A Memphis, Tennessee Collection
