female deity with elaborate coiffure, flowing robes, cloud shoes, holding rectangular item and standing on base with shaped skirts, possibly Korean, 18th or 19th century, 10-1/4 in. Remnants of gilt, lacquer and pigment (90 percent loss of lacquer), casting void at sleeves. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Reverend O. Leland Gilmore, Maryville, Tennessee
