(American, 1902-1984), silver print "Young Oaks, Winter", Yosemite National Park, California, signed lower right on mat in pen "Ansel Adams", titled in pencil on mat verso "THIS IS PRINT 80 OF S.E.Y. NO. 16/YOUNG OAKS, WINTER", late 1960s-early 1970s, 7-1/2 x 9-3/8 in.; aluminum frame. Slight imperfections to print as made due to dust/dirt on negative, minor scratches and indentations, minor droplet stain, laid down on card by artist; toning to mat, glass with moderate grime, frame with abrasions. Provenance: Said to have been given by artist to consignor's brother who was a student of Adams; Private Collection, Asheville, North Carolina
