(American, 1902-1984), silver print "Moonrise from Glacier Point", Yosemite National Park, California, signed lower right on mat in pen "Ansel Adams", titled in pencil on mat verso "THIS IS PRINT 71 of S.E.Y. 18/MOONRISE FROM GLACIER POINT", late 1960s-early 1970s, 7-1/2 x 9-3/8 in.; aluminum frame. Possible slight areas of retouch, slight imperfections to print as made, several minor scratches and indentations, minor residue on print surface, laid down on card by artist; toning and foxing to mat, glass with moderate grime, abrasions to frame. Provenance: Said to have been given by artist to consignor's brother who was a student of Adams; Private Collection, Asheville, North Carolina
