eight paneled sides, dark brown glaze, base with incised "MV" in square over "MG" in oval, 1961, potter unknown, probably mid 20th century, 17 in. 5 in. side and base crack with repair, minor abrasions, minor glaze irregularities as made. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Parker B. Poe to Benefit the Thomasville Cultural Center, Thomasville, Georgia
