Second issue.Rare copy of the first Hawaiian almanac adapted to Lahainaluna and translated by Ephraim Clark and William Richards (Dibble). The title is translated as "[The] Hawaiian Almanac, for the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 1835. Made for the meridian of Lahainaluna, latitude 20 degrees 53 minutes, longitude 156 degrees 24 minutes." The first four pages contain the title and text, the final 12 pages are tables of sunrise, sunset and tides. This is the second issue, with the colophon at the bottom of the final page, reading "Oahu: - Mission Press, Dec. 1834. Ed. 2,000" present. Forbes 877.
