Description: The photographs include: "Wagons de 1ere Classe," the interior of a luxurious railroad car, 3x2¾. * "Palace Hotel - San Francisco," the image famously used on an advertisement for Watkins' photographs, 3¾x5¾. * "Moulin d'une mine," mine buildings in the hills, 3¾x3. * "Californie - Habitation privee - San Francisco," a large and ornate mansion in San Francisco, 4½x7¼. The mount measures 12½x17½, with "No. 24" inked in lower right corner.
