Author: London, Jack Description: [2], 169 + [1] ad pp. + [2] blank pp. Illustrated with a frontispiece by Gordon Grant, with tissue-guard. 6¾x4½, variant binding of rough grass-green cloth stamped in black and dark green, front cover and spine lettered in black. Jacket. First Edition.Inscribed and signed on front free endpaper by Sinclair Lewis: "Yours for the revolution! Jack London by Sinclair Lewis." Jack first met and befriended the young Sinclair Lewis at his Yale lecture in 1906 (Lewis graduated from Yale the following year). Lewis' own writing career was yet unrealized when in 1910-11 he sold several plots and story ideas to Jack London, including the plot for "The Abysmal Brute."
