Title page text the same as the published edition, but copyright notice does not include Macmillan Co. Cover illustration is the same as the published edition, but spine blank, and lettering blocked in gilt, instead of white. Blue pencil note on front free endpaper "Ready Nov. 9 / 1.50 / Illus."
