Author: London, Jack
Description: [8], 251, [1] pp. Frontispiece by Maynard Dixon with tissue-guard. Dark greenish-black cloth stamped in silver. First Edition, First Printing.A very fine first printing of London's first book with London's autograph on Paul Lemperly's contemporary copper engraved bookplate. The bookplate, engraved by Edwin Davis French, is signed "ED French, 1900" in the plate. First printing was only 2028 copies. BAL 11869; Sisson & Martens, p. 1.
