Large archive of photographs related to the Hog Island shipyard located south of Philadelphia Pennsylvania on the Delaware River that constructed Liberty ships during World War I. "Panorama of Hog Island Ship Building Site From Ferry House Roof September 20, 1917" measuring 16" x 90". 3.) "Panorama of Hog Island Ship Building Site From Ferry House Roof October 3, 1917" measuring 16" x 56". 4.) Areal View of Hog Island (no date) measuring 20" x 20" exhibiting large rip. 5.) "General View Looking East From Photo Tower Hog Island Ship Yard May 2nd 1918" measuring 16" x 113" with some tears. 6.)"General View Hog Island Ship Yard From Photo Tower 270degree Angle March 22, 1919" measuring 16" x 151" with some damage and tears. 7.) Photograph of the ship Scantic (no date) measuring 20" x 20" exhibiting damage and large rip. 8.)
