Coins and stamps are the passion of the founder of Western Asset Reserve. With a lifetime of experience in the acquisition and sale of these prized collectibles brought to Western Asset Reserve, it is able to locate and present to its customers significant values.

Well acquired coins and stamps have always been excellent investments which have wheathered all economic conditions. For example, the PCGS300 coin index maintained by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) began in 1970 and contains a basket of 3000 popular US coins and started at a value of $1,000. The present value has recently passed $70,000 for that same basket of coins. That's 70 times and there seems to be no end I sight. We doubt your house has gone up 70 times in value since 1970. Similar growth has been seen in the stamp market. The reason for this is that as the population ages the number of collectors grows. But, they only made so many of a particular coin or stamp, and no more will be made. This has a strong effect on value with older issues which were produced in lower quantities when the population was much lower. Fixed supply with growing demand means lots of growth potential!

To cover the costs associated with this live auction, a buyer's premium of 10% of the winning bid amount is required as well as a shipping and handling fee of $17.95. The total purchase price is as follows: Winning Bid + Buyer's Premium + $17.95. These associated fees are non-refundable unless there is an error on our behalf.
Payment of the winning bid amount, buyer's premium and shipping/handling charge must be made within 5 days of bid closure in the form of Paypal payment, credit card payment, cashier's check or money order.
WE ARE LOCATED IN HAWAII, AS SUCH SHIPPING TIMES AND COSTS WILL BE GREATER. WE ALSO HANDLE THE SALE OF SEVERAL HUNDRED ITEMS IN ONE DAY, AS SUCH SHIPPING TIMES WILL BE GREATER THAN NON-LIVE AUCTION EBAY SELLERS. Shipping and handling charges are stated in each listing. Our minimum rates, which include insurance, are $17.95, $23.95 and $27.95, depending on the type of item. If the shipping amount above is higher, the item is over-sized and/or heavy. For items that are very large and/or very heavy, any amount stated is an estimate and the actual amount will vary depending on the winning bidder's location and the packing/crating of the item. All stated or estimated shipping and handling charges are for US mainland or Hawaii destinations only. Bidders requiring items to be shipped to other destinations should contact us in advance for a shipping and handling quote. BY BIDDING, THE BIDDER AGREES TO OUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES, WHETHER KNOWN OR NOT TO BIDDER AT THE TIME OF BID. BIDDER ALSO AGREES TO LEAVE ONLY HIGH RATINGS FOR OUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING TIME AND CHARGES WHEN THEY ARE CONSISTENT WITH WHAT IS DISCLOSED IN THE LISTING.

When appropriate, as determined solely by us, and in an amount determined solely by us, for multiple items purchased by the same buyer, of the same type, and shipped to the same address in the same parcel, we may, in our sole discretion as to qualification, amount and form, provide rebates included with the shipment in the form of cash rebates, additional merchandise similar to what was purchased or coupons to be used for future purchases.

Insurance is provided by us (at no additional cost to US shipments) in the maximum amount obtainable up to the amount of the winning bid. Extra charges may apply to insurance on foreign shipments to the extent that the normal US insurance cost is exceeded. Our responsibility for damage to or loss of the item ends once it has been turned over to the USPS, UPS or other shipping company for delivery. By bidding, the winning bidder agrees that any and all claims for loss or damage to the item will be handled solely through the insurance claims process.

We ship within 15 days after full, cleared payment by the buyer. BY BIDDING, THE WINNING BIDDER HEREBY AGREES TO OUR SHIPPING TIME AND COST, AND AGREES THAT BIDDER WILL NOT NEGATIVELY RATE WAR ON THESE MATTERS WHICH ARE FULLY DISCLOSED IN ADVANCE OF BIDDING.

Although we like to hear from you, please refrain from contacting WAR with shipping status requests until 3 weeks after your full payment has cleared, as such requests delay us in shipping, listing additional items and handling other customer matters that were not already agreed to in advance.
