Lapel pin made of an 1897 South African 1/2 pond coin (double shaft), set with flanking miner's pick and shovel. Long, horizontal pin on back with chain and pin attached at side. Coin reads "Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek," "1/2 Pond, 1897, Eendragt, Magt, Maakt."
