Classical/Empire Bed with spiral twist posts, probably Davidson Co. Walnut posts with turned feet, walnut scroll-carved paneled headboard and oak side rails. Condition: refinished with replaced rails and slats. Lower head and foot stretcher rails possibly replaced. Missing tester. 84"height x 58 3/4" width x 85 1/4" length (set up). Circa 1840 with later elements.
