Late classical press with elaborate shaped skirt. Attributed to Blount Co., descended from the Henry family of Blount Co. Cherry base with mahogany veneer top. Condition - top marriage to the base, but from similar period, long association. Press top has partial replacement to back. Base 34-1/2" H x 44-3/4" W x 18" D. Upper cabinet 49-1/4" H x 40-1/4" W x 11-1/2" D. Entire piece 83-1/2" H. Circa 1850.
