2 Virginia painted baskets

Two painted Virginia baskets. 1st item - large brown painted square basket with handles (Ceres, VA). Condition - expected wear to paint, old breaks in bottom, one break to the rim. 12-1/2" to top of handle x 12" D x 14" W. 2nd item - green painted buttocks basket (Pulaski Co.). 19th century. Condition - expected wear to paint. A few minor breaks to bottom and handle appears to be a later replacement. Few minor breaks to rim. 7-3/4" to top of handle x 7-1/2" W x 8-3/4". Late 19th/Early 20th century.
