"THE ROCHESTER" NO. 2 BRASS SINGLE-ARM STUDENT LAMP, kerosene period, removable font, adjustable on the center shaft, weighted base, stamped on shoulder below shade ring "THE ROCHESTER", period burner stamped on top "THE ROCHESTER PAT'D OCT 1 1889 & AUG 26 1890" and on side of burner "PAT AUG 6 1889", opaque white cased butterscotch with gilt decorated "Winged Griffin" shade, chimney marked "RAYO". 20 1/2" h overall, 6" dia base, shade 7 1/2" h, 9 7/8" dia base.

Undamaged except for a tiny dent to bottom of burner and two on foot, shade undamaged with normal mold roughness to top and base and with light wear to gilt decoration
