SMITH II, FIG. 333 MINIATURE LAMP, kerosene period, porcelain figural white painted basket-weave patterned font supported by three cupids on a brown painted base, applied sprigs of flowers to font and base, Meissen-type mark under base, period burner with extinguisher, marked on thumbwheel "BIRM MESSENGER'S", shade with embossed wreaths and torches pattern, frosted band to top and bottom. 12 1/2" h to top of shade, lamp 6 1/2" h, 5" dia base.
