***Rare to find all 7 volumes together, the Richardson volumes are particularly scarce. Sir Howard also owned a copy of the very rare Vitruvius Brittanicus, Volume the Fourth by J.Badeslade and John Rocque of 1739. Apart from his copy Harris records only 3 others, namely those in the libraries of the Royal Academy, Yale University and the Canadian Centre for Architecture (the latter being imperfect). Sir Howard very generously bequeathed his copy to the British Library..
