Parts 2-4 with separate title pages. (Folio) 13¼x9, later full vellum over boards. First Edition in German.Profusely illustrated work on hydraulic engineering in architecture by the architect to the city of Nuremberg, George Andreas Böckler. Published in German and Latin in close succession. The plates contain images of fountains, grottoes, palaces, mazes, etc. Berlin Catalogue 3579; Brunet 1024.

Condition report

Ex-library from the Montana State College Library with call numbers on spine, embossed stamp on engraved title and common title, ink number stamp at foot of preliminary leaf. Vellum soiled, some wear to extremities; a few plates with outer margin widened by the addition of a strip of paper; an occasional spot of foxing; else very good.
