Framed Himalayan tanka (thangka), depicting a blue bovine headed dharmapala, possibly Bhairava, grasping a danda (staff) in one hand and a pasa (noose) in the other adorned with skulls and heads, accompanied by his shakti holding a kapala (skull) and a khatvanga (wand), both standing on top of a bull, set against a flaming mandorla, the top and bottom right corners supported by secondary dharmaplas, all executed in gilt, ink and color on fabric (wear), overall: 39.5''h x 27.5''w, sight: 29.5''h x 19''w; Provenance: Estate of Mr. Chris Kain, Denver, Colorado
