[Bookbinding.] Oliver Goldsmith, THE VICAR OF WAKEFIELD, illus. by William Mulready, (London: Van Voorst, 1843) 8vo, in an Arts and Crafts style binding by Riviere & Son of London, executed in green goatskin with colored leather onlays superimposed with rose vines around a medallion; the interior of the boards similarly gilt and tooled, with maroon silk moire panels and matching flyleaves; bears bookplate of Henry Clay Frick; with boarded morocco clamshell case.

Fine: silk at edge of front flyleaf is fragile. Hinge of case is broken. Submit inquiry for further details.
