Humphreys, London, date as noted: 1) Emerson, ESSAYS, 2 vols. (1899); 2) Thomas A. Kempis, [THE IMITATION OF CHRIST,] (1897); 3) F. Bacon, ESSAYS (1900); and 4) T.B. Macauley, TWO ESSAYS ON THE EARL OF CHATHAM, (1901).
