Chinese turned burlwood bowl, unmarked, 18th century; with highly detailed repousse silver foot and silver liner, with a repousse silver domed cover studded with blue and orange "jewels" (apparently coral and turquoise), and an ivory finial, 5 5/8" H. overall, 6 1/2" Diam., cover - 6.5 ozt. (unmarked by tests as high purity).
Condition reportbowl - has some natural cracks; liner - dents and wrinkles; cover - has numerous perforations; knop - leans to one side, some of the cabochons are missing; submit inquiry for further details
