Savannah: 18 February 1784. 1 oblong page (135 x 185 mm). Note in Habersham's hand certifing the military service of William Bishop in Georgia during 1776. Condition: inlayed, usual folds, some restoration to verso. rare lachlan mcintosh signature with military content. McIntosh, known for his famous duel in which Button Gwinnett was killed, became a Major General in September of 1783 and a delegate to Congress on February 23, 1784, just 4 days after signing this note.
