Ink note to title identifies this document as "Inspection report no. 19." Early upper wrapper. Condition: ink and pencil notations, NYPL library stamp, chipping to pages; lacking lower wrapper. proposal to dig 25,000 graves at vicksburg with original drawings. Report discusses the geographical layout of the cemetery, labor needs, and the plan to purchase lands from nearby townspeople.
