Swords, 1831. 8vo. 2 parts in 1. 8vo (225 x 140 mm). Original cloth backed blue boards, paper spine label. Condition: light foxing, pencil and ink markings to text, one preliminary removed; inscription with ink bleed, boards lightly soiled, spine with vertical crease and chip at head, label with small portions missing. inscribed by william r. prince on upper board. Sabin 65622. Provenance: All three books with signature of William Hallaran, Flushing, NY. first editions of three important new york horticultural texts by nurseryman william prince. Prince was the son of the founder of the famous Prince Nursery and Linnaean Botanic Garden in Flushing, New York.
