NEW YORK - Erie Canal. Engraved invitation to the Canal Celebration Ball. New York: 7 November 1825. Engraved card (123 x 175 mm). Condition: very light foxing. scarce invitation to the ball celebrating the opening of the erie canal. As the invitiation states, the Ball was "Given by the militia officers & civilians of New York."
