[Washington, D.C.: Government Printing Office], 30 April 1970. 4to (254 x 197 mm). Mounted photographic frontispiece of Nixon. Handsomely bound in full blue levant morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, upper cover ruled in blind and titled in gilt, spine with red morocco lettering label, 5 raised bands, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, original wrappers bound-in. Condition: intermittent pencil notations, very slight rubbing to wrappers; slight rubbing to joints, two small chips to head of spine. first edition, first printing of nixon's attempt to comply before resignation, elaborately bound by sangorski & sutcliffe in full morocco.
