PRESIDENTS - ROOSEVELT, Theodore. Typed letter signed discussing Woodrow Wilson's politics, travelling in Egypt, and John Coolidge.
New York: 11 June 1917. 1 p., Metropolitan stationery (280 x 210 mm). With original envelope. Condition: usual folds, offset from fold of heading. roosevelt letter with travel and political content. Written to Mr. Oric Bates of the Peabody Museum of Harvard University congratulating him on his book, Roosevelt goes on to congratulate Bates for going to Egypt, writing: "If Mr. Wilson had been able to rise above the cheapest kind of party politics, I would be over myself."
