Contemporary half-morocco over marbled boards, rebacked with remnants of original gilt tooled and lettered spine affixed to modern spine. Condition: frontispiece with small repairs, some dampstaining mostly to margin, intermittent foxing, frontispiece with frayed edges and small repaired tear. Boards rubbed, and ligthly soiled, wear to extremities, bumped. Provenance: Nickerson (bookplate). first edition.
