New York Governor DeWitt Clinton Signed Document

DEWITT CLINTON, New York Political Figure, U.S. Senator, Presidential Candidate and Mayor of New York City.
February 24, 1821, Partially Printed Document Signed, "Dewitt Clinton," as Governor of New York, 1 page, 10" x 14," About Fine. In this document, Governor DeWitt Clinton appoints 17 individuals as coroners for Rensselaer County. His 2.25" signature appears at the end of the text, followed by a much larger signature by the Secretary. This document is in presentable condition, with some fold separations and holes, including a small amount of paper loss. Only the 1" long hole in the upper right affects any of the content, in this case, part of a single word. Otherwise this document is intact and includes a 2.25" embossed official seal.
