Partial Legal Document Written by Abraham Lincoln (ABRAHAM LINCOLN). Circa 1858, Unsigned Autograph Fragment from a larger legal document, State of Illinois, written in Abraham Lincoln's own hand, but Not Signed by him, one page, 3.8" x 8" lined paper, Very Fine. This document is comprised of over thirty words in Lincoln's hand. Lincoln writes: "Joseph Peters, the defendant who pleads the above plea, being first duly sworn, states on oath that said plea is true in substance and in fact Sworn to & Subscribed before me this 11th Day of May 1858..."
