Stitch-bound early colonial Almanack, 23 pages, 6.75" x 4.25", with a nice cover woodcut of a caricatured Sun. The almanack includes the standard astronomical calculations and calendars complete through October, along with a commentary by Ames on the second page--announcing that his very own poetry will adorn the pages of each calendar month. The pages are aged toned and have some edge chipping from wear and use.
