Revolutionary War - Early American Trench Pike Head

c. 1775, Revolutionary War Era, Early American Pike Head, Very Fine.
9" overall length, 5" x 1.25" blade. This has a hand forged socket and medium ridge blade and is a typical example of the pole arms used during the Revolutionary War era and notably called "Trench Pikes". The blade has the original surface patina. The surface is a rust-brown iron and was well cared for thus showing little evidence of wear or damage.
