Revolutionary War Soldiers Continental Army "Bounty" Receipt July 24, 1776, 6 Pound Bounty Receipt, Taunton, MA, Very Fine. Document Signed, "John Presbry," in brown ink on fine-laid paper, 2" x 6", stating "This day recd six pounds of Capt. Edward Blake to go into the Contonontal [sic] army a hole torne--Recd per me--John Presbry." Usual folds with slight separations at edges, some toning and foxing.
