August-November 1864, Civil War Draft Roster of Volunteers and Substitutes for Genesee County, Very Fine.
15.5" x 6," a four page listing of the names of Volunteers and Substitutes of Genesee County, plus the bounties paid to each. The total came to a whopping $105,380.82, with most of the men receiving $400 each. In some cases, the men cam with additional volunteers who were also paid a Bounty. An affidavit signed by the Justice of the Peace of Genesee County has been attached to the last page. Unique, impressive, and of great interest to the collector of Civil War Draft memorabilia.
