The Debate over Kansas

July 11, 1856, "Minority Report", by Mr. Mordecai Oliver, on the House Debate over Kansas, Very Fine.
67-page pamphlet, disbound, measuring 5.5" x 9". Mr. Mordecai Oliver, along with two other men, was "appointed by the House of Representatives to investigate the state of affairs in Kansas". This report is a counterstatement, presented to the House, against the views of opinions of the other two men who sat on the committee with Mr. Oliver. Some separated pages, minor foxing, and a faint fold down the center of the pamphlet, otherwise in very fine condition .
