Victorian figural silver plated napkin ring, cherub with feather headdress riding on a melon. In left hand, he holds reins as his right is raised above his head gripping a cattail. Marked on bottom Middletown Plate Co #17. Pictured in American Victorian Figural Napkin Rings by Victor Schnadig, page 23. Measures approx. 5" high x 5 1/2" x 3." End of cattail is missing from his hand, no other visible defects.
